I am not an apologist, but does not 3:10 refute the claim? They had "turned back from their way" At least thats what I read. Thoughts?

While certainly not defending the Dubs it is clear they are simply trying to use all the legal channels possible to state their claim. All documents listed and record of discussion seem to be the same old thing of trying to get the Russians to ease up. I can't see anywhere where they actually voted or becmae part of any committee - unless someone can point me in that direction.

Governing body member engaged... Again!
by OneDayillBeFree injust found out that the australian governong body member known as geoffrey jackson got engaged to a sister about two weeks ago.
it really shocked me at first but then i remembered how other members of the gb have remarried in the past like daniel sidlik.
what made me say "woah" was hearing that the holy bride to be is really young!

How loving is that. It is not likely she is is a paid up cracker nibbler/wine sipper so that would be realy unloving to create an emotional and (gulp) physical attachment and then knock off to join the others in heaven. After all is not his heavenly calling immenent? Are we not just soooo close to the end that we should take count of the cost? In this case he made the decision not in his heart but rather 6 inches below his navel. Daringhart13: I am with you - I still find it hard that I was teaching at conventions. I would find it very difficult to justify an orpganization that has with (great accelleration over the last 5 years) morped into something that is bordering on undefendable.

LITS: Kudos for sic'ng the insurance company on your husband. It still amazes me that as an elder I was at times I acted completely irrational and illogical and drove my wife mad. Now we are both out we laugh about my time when my brain was removed and put in storage...
NUGGET: Amazing isnt it! Rarely did I get any money for gas (although it was hard on the elderely and I did not mind helping the out). We had one elder who was so lazy he did not work blaming some fake cardiac disorder that was never diagnosed by any doctor and he took no medication. He never had a car and always got a ride everywhere by some of the R&F. When you went on vacation the cheeky bastard would ask to use your car while you were away. Talk about ingratitude!!

Sparlock makes his appearance on the Simpsons
by NewYork44M insparlock and the simpsonsif rumors are true, and they generally are, then sparlock the warrior wizard is set to make a special guest appearance on an upcoming episode of the simpsons.. .
according to matt groening, the shows creator, sparlock will feature in a simpsons episode to air on thanksgiving day.. it was only natural due to the popularity of sparlock the warrior wizard, groening explained, that he would end up on this show.. .

Lots, especially the elderly. Even picked up a sr in her 80's and her own son moved to another congo to avoid helping her. We took her to more dr apts, suppers, assemblies, ect than her own miserable son and his self centred, selfish wife. There was no reason (nor did they offer one) for them to move to a neghbouring congo (same hall/dff night). Just did not like the responsibility.

How many JW pedofiles do you personally know?
by oldlightnewshite ini was just thinking that out of the 200 jws that i actually know, at least 4 of them to my knowledge are pedophiles.
i know for a fact, through personal confidences.
that means, as far as my circle of jovo friends/acquaintances goes, 2% of them are kiddy fiddlers.. without mentioning names or details, how many do you know of for a certainty to be pedos, and what percentage does it work out at, considering all your circle of jovo friends?.

Had to deal with two between 1989 and 2010 when I was an elder.

Apologies for the bump - does this "Sparlock/JW on the Simpsons" a rumour or does it have some truth to it.

Atheists: Lowest Retention Rate Next to JWs
by breakfast of champions inarticle found here.. .
those who grow up in an atheist household are least likely to maintain their beliefs about religion as adults, according to a study by georgetown university's center for applied research in the apostolate (cara).only about 30 percent of those who grow up in an atheist household remain atheists as adults.
this "retention rate" was the lowest among the 20 separate categories in the study.. there were 1,387 atheists (weighted) in the survey.

Thats because atheists (Ricky Gervais) "don't believe in 2,870 gods", Dubs are close to atheists as they don't believe in 2,869.

List of Prominent JW Urban Legends...
by Tuesday inhey folks,.
i'm wondering if you all could help me with my next video that i want to put up in the next couple of days (though i'm hoping for tonight), i want to come up with a list of the most prominent urban legends surrounding jws and then refute them whatever they may be.. i'm thinking there's the urban legend about the question on jeopardy that said the nwt was the most accurate would be a good one.
that one stems from an online powerpoint presentation named theological jeopardy and a book which was written comparing six different translations of the bible.
